Wintrek 16 & 32-bit

WINTREK was written in 1989 when Windows 3.1 was first released. It was probably the first shareware game to take advantage of the new MMSYSTEM DLLs, which provided audio and video hooks into Windows. Before this, Windows did not support any audio or color graphics display. At the time, the Windows API was poorly documented by Microsoft, which made writing this game a challenge. By today's standards, WINTREK is primitive in terms of graphics and special effects, but it is still a fun game to play.
