I combined the files to make 1 ISO file. I checked the data and the size was 193,745,781 bytes while the Size on disk was 193,748,992 bytes. Meaning the file is corrupted. It would be a lot easier if the uploader didn't split the files in the first place.

I had to remove write permission from the extracted .iso to use it under the BasiliskII emulator -- OS 8 throws an error if it finds the "CD" is writable! Previous comments about the need to combine the files *before* attempting to extract them are correct. Under Linux or OS X this is easily done in a Terminal: "cat MacOS81.iso.001.7z MacOS81.iso.002.7z MacOS81.iso.003.7z MacOS81.iso.004.7z MacOS81.iso.005.7z > MacOS81.iso.7z" Only then should you attempt to extract the resulting "MacOS81.iso.7z" file.

FROM COMMAND LINE (under windows) do that : copy /b MacOS81.iso.001 + MacOS81.iso.002 +MacOS81.iso.003 + MacOS81.iso.004 +MacOS81.iso.005 MacOS81full.7z It will generate an 7z file. Decompress it and it will be an ISO file, BUT I cant mount it or burn it. Miss file system

Work well ! Files are comporessed with 7z but after ther werer split ! Concat everyfile in 1 file and extract ISO from this one big file . FROM COMMAND LINE (under windows) do that : copy /b MacOS81.iso.001 + MacOS81.iso.002 +MacOS81.iso.003 + MacOS81.iso.004 +MacOS81.iso.005 MacOS81full.iso After that you can extract ISO.

Every file is corrupted. None will open with WinRAR or 7-Zip File Manager!
