I remember bringing up MathCad 7 for the first time and all my sheets came up red with errors. It had to have a few patches before it worked very well. I don't have the patches anymore and don't know where you would get them.

This program hosts easily on Windows 10 64-bit; however, the preliminary install must be on 32-bit windows. Copy directory \WINMCAD from the 32-bit to the 64-bit machine and run with administrative privilege the first time, so that mcad.exe can write to the registry. The help files must invoke the 32-bit WINHLP32.exe helpfiles program from XP system. Instructions and a script file for that installation are found by searching the web for that topic.
