@DOS: Being the uploader I'd like to confirm that the update disk "PCTW2UPD" is not an original disk by CP. It is an accumulated collection of all updates available from CPS (I can't remember if CPS Update Service were sending these as separate floppy disks) and I also included FAQs from CPS (I guess from their former ftp server or Symantec server) DISK1 to DISK7 are from the original retail version.

Regarding the update disk PCTW2UPD.rar: This also includes a FAQ, which is English. The patches all appear to be multi-language. The included FIX32B.ZIP is similar but not identical to FIX32B.EXE which is available from http://files.mpoli.fi/software/MISC/UPDATES/FIX32B.EXE and http://cd.textfiles.com/cica/cica9603/disk2/disc2/patches/fix32b.exe (which have identical directories inside them but different comments): - The included FIX32B.ZIP contains an additional README.1ST file. Its README.TXT corresponds to README32.TXT in the .exe versions, but they differ slightly in formatting. - VFATHLP.386, which the README files indicate that Microsoft holds Copyright over and therefore presumably wrote, contain quite a few differences, although both are marked as version 0.01. Disassembly would be required to explain the differences. - Many of the files in the .exe versions have a timestamp of 02:00, whereas all of the files in the included FIX32B.ZIP have a timestamp of 02:01. The disk also seems to include someone's personal document, so is presumably not an official, unmodified disk from Central Point. The included WNDES2.ZIP has the same files in it as http://cd.textfiles.com/wthreepack/wthreepack-3/SECURITY/WNDES2.ZIP, but they're not compressed the same. The included WNEXCEL5.ZIP has the same files in it as http://cd.textfiles.com/cica/cica9603/disk2/disc2/patches/excel5.exe, but they're not compressed the same, and the .exe also has a comment from "Central Point Software Online Technical Services". Similarly for WNWORD6.ZIP. Note for anyone looking for other versions of these files: http://cd.textfiles.com/cica/cica9502/disk2/DISC2/PATCHES/ contains EXCEL5.ZIP and WORD6.ZIP files which contain the corresponding .exe files from http://cd.textfiles.com/cica/cica9603/disk2/disc2/patches/
