Polyray 1.7

Polyray is a combination of an extensive set of modelling primitives together with a comprehensive renderer (including both raytracing and polygon scan conversion). Models are specified in an ASCII file, which are then parsed, and subsequently rendered. An IBM-AT or compatible is the only platform currently supported. An 80386/80387 combination, or 80486 CPU plus at least 2Mb of RAM is required. (Other CPU/FPU combinations are available, however the RAM requirement is a minimum.)

Polyray 1.8

The program Polyray is a rendering program for producing scenes of 3D shapes and surfaces. The means of description range from standard primitives like box, sphere, etc. to 3 variable polynomial expression, and finally (and slowest of all) surfaces containing transcendental functions like sin, cos, log. The files associated with Polyray are distributed in four pieces: the executable, a collection of document files, a collection of sample data files, and a few small utility programs. Includes source and Windows binary as released in 1997.
