Enterprise Objects Framework 1.1

This is the famous database middleware for NeXTSTEP. It was great for even mapping out databases. Works awesome with Oracle. Ive included some old PDFs on how to use. Legend is when the guy who wrote this quit, they accidentally deleted all the source code, so the follow up ended up being all java based, and known as WebObjects.

NeXT Developer CD 3.3

This is the NeXTSTEP Developer CD. It includes the SDK tools and documentation for compiling applications on NeXTSTEP. It even includes the SOURCE to the compilers and tools that are based on the GNU project material.

This is a dump of a NeXT Magnetic Optical disk that should contain NeXTSTEP 0.9 from 1988. This will only run on an early 68k NeXT machines. Currently no emulator will run it, but a NeXT emulator called "Previous" is in progress.

This is a dump of a NeXT Magnetic Optical disk that should contain NeXTSTEP 2.0 from 1990. This will only run on 68k NeXT machines. Currently no emulator will run it, but a NeXT emulator called "Previous" is in progress.

NeXTSTEP 2.2

This is NeXTSTEP 2.2 for Motorola 68K base NeXT computers. This archive contains a CD-ROM ISO and 2.88mb boot floppy disk image. This can also be used in the Previous emulator.

NeXTSTEP 3.2

This is the Nextstep 3.2 CD ISO image for M68k NeXT and X86 PCs, and boot floppy images. Tested in the Previous emulator, and appears to be correct. Note that Nextstep 3.x ISO images uses a BSD file system instead of the standard ISO file system. To burn this to a CD, you must use burning software that does not check the ISO structure. (Due to upload limitations, this is a 7z file inside a multipart RAR)

NeXTSTEP 3.3

NeXTSTEP 3.3 CISC ISO image. This is not a normal ISO 9660 Image, but rather a NeXTSTEP FFS image. I've also included the floppy disk images. On an Intel box, you'll want to boot with the install, core then beta disk, to install IDE CD-ROM support. You'll probably want to google the install process

NeXTSTEP 0.8 was the first publicly released version. This file contains a 2 gigabyte hard drive image and the Win32 version of Previous. See the "Nextstep 0.8.txt" file on how to run it.

NextStep 3.3 (RISC) 3.3 (RISC)

This is the Nextstep 3.3 CD ISO image for Sun SPARC and HP PA-RISC workstations. Tested on an HP 9000 712. Note that Nextstep 3.x ISO images uses a BSD file system instead of the standard ISO file system. To burn this to a CD, you must use burning software that does not check the ISO structure. (Due to upload limitations, this is a multipart 7z - please remove the last .7z extension to open it)

This is the NeXTSTEP 3.3 Developer Patch 2, which adds bug fixes, and brings the developer tools inline with being Y2K compliant (remember when this was a thing?). If you want to play with NeXTSTEP, you will want this.
